Chishakuin Temple

A temple where you can enjoy the beauty of plants throughout the year.
Especially the over 1000 Platycodon grandiflorus flowers, and the hydrangeas during the rainy season, are worth seeing.

Tofukuji Temple

Close to the rental location,
this spot has many things to see.
Fresh green leaves in early summer, and bright red autumn leaves.
The view from the bridge is magnificent.

Fushimi Inari Shrine

Located very close to the rental location,
this is the head shrine of Inari shrines.
In spring, you can enjoy the Japanese scenery of cherry blossoms and torii gates.

Heian Jingu Shrine

If you're heading north, be sure to visit Heian Jingu.
The vermilion architecture is beautiful, and in the gardens,
you can enjoy seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms and irises.

Daigoji Temple

If you extend your trip south from the rental location,
you will find Daigoji Temple.
You can encounter many important buildings and Buddhist statues,
and immerse yourself in Japanese culture.
About 700 cherry trees bloom in the spring.

Kitano Tenmangu Shrine

1500 plum blossoms in spring,
and 350 autumn leaves in autumn,
bloom vividly.
It enshrines "Sugawara Michizane,"
known as the god of learning.

Kinkaku-ji (Rokuon-ji)

A little far from the rental location,
but no problem with an e-Bike!
There are Nijo Castle and many temples and shrines along the way,
so it is recommended to make Kinkaku-ji
your final destination for sightseeing.

Arashiyama Bamboo Grove

The bamboo path, with its calming blue-green color,
can be cycled through early in the morning
when it is still quiet.
It is recommended to visit during the off-season,
avoiding the cherry blossom and autumn leaves seasons.

Ohara Sanzenin Temple

Spend a peaceful moment
at a temple in nature.
Small "Warabe Jizo" statues greet you
in the soft moss garden.
